A Twist on Coleslaw

Every time I make this slaw it's a hit, when I go to a potluck I never have any left to bring home so it works well. And every one asks what's in it, it's so good.

First chop a small red cabbage into strips and then chop again in the opposite direction to make bite size pieces (I used to just do strips cause it looked cool, but was a bit messy to eat)

Then chop about a third of a mid sized leek, to about halfway through the light green section, (save the rest for a good soup or green salad)

Then shred a large carrot or two mid sized carrots to equal about two cups in total.

then cut to bite sized pieces.

Then slice half a large red onion and chop in half to make bite sized pieces.

Put all ingredients in a large bowl
